We are one of the leading manufacturers of extrusion lines for foamed data cables. The use of highly dynamic drives in combination with our intelligent SIEBE Process Control System (SPCS) ensures pulsation-free output with maximum temperature and pressure uniformity. All SIEBE extruders of the Gl series have very effective heating/cooling assemblies on the extruder cylinder. A low melt temperature at the injection head outlet can therefore be guaranteed. SIEBE extruders Gl are designed for an operating pressure range of 0 - 500 bar and for temperatures up to 250 °C and up to 450 °C (for fluorine materials). The gas injection nozzle can remain in the cylinder during the changeover to solid production and therefore ensures short set-up times. 
The adjustable bypass option means that only the smallest loss quantities are caused when production is stopped, e.g. due to a wire break, thus significantly increasing the productivity of our systems.

The combination of SIEBE HSP-GI-F extruders, SIEBE gas injection (SGI) and SIEBE Process Control System (SPCS) enables the extrusion of solid as well as physically or chemically foamed data cables on an extrusion line.
The special processing of plastics with fluorine content is made possible by the use of special materials for all system components containing media. The higher energy density for processing FEP plastics is achieved by using special high-performance heating and cooling assemblies. In addition, the low-maintenance injection nozzle for all propellants and dosing quantities can remain in the cylinder even when the process is changed to chemical foam and solid insulation.
SIEBE gas injection (SGI) guarantees precise gas quantity control and therefore both a safe and flexible production process at the highest quality level. All SIEBE extrusion lines are specially designed for the respective customer requirements. The equipment of the extrusion line with the various system components is so flexible that almost all production-specific customer requirements can be taken into consideration.

Complete Systems for COAX Cables

The high performance of the SIEBE single-screw extruders of the Gl series with gas supply opening for the connection of SIEBE gas injection (SGI) is based on three principles: Computer-calculated and field-tested special foam screw with mixing and shearing parts, large L/D ratios for excellent foam structure and heat energy, most of which is supplied from the outside. These all ensure material-friendly plasticizing and excellent homogenization.
The precise temperature control of each heating zone guarantees temperature fluctuations of less than 0.25% from the setpoint value. The use of highly dynamic drives and direct power transmission from the drive to the screw ensures pulsation-free output with maximum temperature and pressure uniformity.
All SIEBE extruders of the Gl series have very effective heating/cooling assemblies on the extruder cylinder. A low melt temperature at the injection head outlet can therefore be guaranteed. The extruders are equipped with speed and pressure control to achieve the best product properties.
The pressure curves represent a significant parameter for the quality of the manufacturing process. Pressure transducers for the gassing zone, a perforated plate and extrusion die are therefore included as standard in the machine's scope of delivery. All SIEBE extruders of the Gl series are designed for a operating pressure range of 0 - 500 bar and for temperatures up to 250 °C and up to 450 °C for fluorine materials. The gas injection nozzle can remain in the cylinder during the changeover to solid production and therefore ensures short set-up times.
The extruders of the GI series can also be used to process fluoropolymers.

Our SIEBE gas injection can also be ordered separately for the exact dosing of nitrogen N₂ or carbon dioxide CO₂.
